SciTech is visiting the library this October school holidays! We have two sessions on Monday 6 October designed for two age groups.
SciTech – Where is air? Show followed by a hands on workshop
How do we know that air is actually there? Experimenting with air will get your senses tingling! It’s going to be hot, cold, smelly and windy as we discover the properties of air.

Soar through the science of flying as our presenter battles gravity, drag and the laws of physics to fly balloons, aeroplanes and rockets.
