Special Guest Speaker – Colleen Egan

Persevering to Achieve Results: An 8 Year Battle to Save a Man’s Life

Colleen Egan was the first to properly investigate the case of Andrew Mallard, convicted and detained in 1995 for the murder of Perth jeweler Pamela Lawrence.

Colleen’s book, ‘Murder No More’ traces her 8 year journey to uncover new evidence that led to Mallard’s release after 12 years of imprisonment, and a public apology from W.A. Police Commissioner Karl O’Callaghan. She won a Walkley Award in 2006 as a result of her role in the case.

Tuesday 16 November 2010 6pm at Fremantle City Library

Members are invited to enjoy light refreshments after the formalities. Copies of Colleen Egan’s book will be available for purchase.
