Family Stories and Histories

Wendy Brown will explore how family stories often don’t translate to what is in the records, and how that can be very disheartening for people looking for answers. At the same time it can be very exciting and exhilarating to be on a journey to find the real story, the real history.

Wendy will be using some true life examples, including the story about her own grandfather that started her on the journey revealed in her book: Who are you Charlie Brown?
