Fremantle City Library’s outdoor reading room is going undercover this autumn and winter! Cosy up with a book indoors at Many6160 (the old Myer building) and relax.
The award winning outdoor reading room initiative began in 2012 as part of the Kings Square project, an outcome from a community place making workshop. Based on pop up libraries around the world, the outdoor reading room has brought a positive social atmosphere to the area and promotes reading, literacy and creating an informed community.
Drop by and browse, read a while, then leave it for someone else to enjoy. The outdoor reading room offers a taste of Fremantle City Library – visit us inside the Town Hall Administration Centre.
