2016 Children’s Book Council of Australia Book of the Year shortlist


This year, the Children’s Book Council Book of The Year Awards celebrates its 70th anniversary making it the longest running book awards in Australia. Listed below is the shortlist of titles, categorised into books suitable for early readers, older readers and young adults, as well as picture books. The Eve Pownall Award for Information Books encompasses non-fiction titles.
