It’s National Volunteer Week…
Let’s Celebrate Together!

Location: Fremantle City Library, 8 William Street, Fremantle

Join us in the Fremantle Library on Wednesday May 10 between 10am and 2pm.Relax with a cuppa and chat to volunteer organisations about the great work they do in our community. Discover the wide variety of volunteer positions on offer.

Chat to current volunteers and enjoy our speakers throughout the day. We will also have a photographic exhibition showcasing some of our ‘local volunteers in action’ throughout the whole week.

‘Benefits of Volunteering and Current Trends’

10.30am       OOO! Hero. The St John Ambulance Early Childhood Program is about engaging with young children and educating them about first aid so that they know what to do in an emergency. A St Johns volunteer will read the children’s book 000 Hero.

1pm               Kay Raymond – Community Development Officer, City of Fremantle. Kay will speak about seniors, volunteering opportunities and The One Stop Shop.
